Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Online
Kendriya Vidyalayas are a system of central government schools in India that were established to provide quality education to the children of employees of the Central Government of India. They are run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
There are over 1200 Kendriya Vidyalayas spread across the country, providing education from Class 1 to Class 12. The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalayas is centralized and students are admitted through a common entrance test conducted by the KV Sangathan.
In order to apply for admission to a Kendriya Vidyalaya, parents need to fill out an online application form which is available on the official website of KV Sangathan. The application form needs to be submitted along with certain documents like birth certificate, marksheet of previous class etc.
Process How to Register for KV Admission Online
In order to register for Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) admission online, you will need to follow the steps outlined below
1. Visit the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) at kvsangathan.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the ‘Admission’ tab given in the main menu bar.
3. A new page will open where you need to select your preferred region from the drop-down list.
4. After selecting your region, a list of all the KVs under that region will be displayed on the screen.
5. Now, click on the ‘Apply Online’ button given against your chosen KV school.
6. On the next page, you will be required to create a user account by entering your personal details such as name, email id and mobile number.
7. Once you have created your user account, login with your credentials and fill out the online application form with all the necessary details asked for.
8. After filling out the form, submit it along with scanned copies of supporting documents like age proof and identity proof etcetera as per the instructions given on the website.

1. A completed application form.
2. Proof of age (birth certificate or passport).
3. Proof of address (utility bill or lease agreement).
4. Previous school records (if applicable).
5. A recent passport-sized photo of the child.
